Research Programs, Conferences, and Grants

Undergraduate SRP

SRP 99 courses are where many students begin doing research. In SRP 99 courses, students work in a faculty mentor’s lab assisting in hands-on research.

UCLA PROPS

The UCLA Psychology Research Opportunity Programs (PROPS) is an excellent opportunity for undergraduates to begin their research careers and to acquire the needed experience for pursuing advanced studies in Psychology. PROPS provides a stipend (up to $2,000) to historically underrepresented students or those with a demonstrated financial need to support them while they work in research labs of UCLA Psychology faculty during the Winter and Spring Quarters of each year.

UCLA PURC

The Psychology Undergraduate Research Conference provides opportunities for undergraduate research assistants to develop their presentation skills and share their research efforts with their peers and colleagues.

UCLA Undergraduate Research Week

Open to all UCLA undergraduates engaged in research and creative projects, Undergraduate Research Week provides opportunities for hundreds of UCLA students to present their work to the campus and broader community as oral presentations, posters, and performances. The submission deadline is April 15 for the mid-May conference.

Conferences are a great opportunity to share your work with peers, faculty members, and others in your field. Select undergraduate conferences are included below. Also be sure to research conferences in your field; they may be open to undergraduate participants!
